Club System Scales
|
|
Here we show each of the twelve major scales executed (mostly)
press and/or (mostly) draw.
- All scales are shown for a C/F instrument.
- Transposition, if necessary, is left as an exercise for the student.
- All major scales are shown press and/or draw as appropriate, sometimes
both.
- Of course, the natural minor is the same set of keys as its relative
major.
- When dealing with sharp and flat key signatures, the music for the
scales is shown in the more customary choice of key.
- Transposition, if necessary, is left as an exercise for the student.
- The scales do not necessarily show all the notes from the given key
avaiable on the instrument.
In performance one generally does not play in all one bellows direction.
Given the prevailing bellows direction for a passage, the player seeks
out notes or figures within the passage which are comfortable to play
in the reverse direction. This recovers bellows room for continuing the
passage.
